Perspectives in Focus

"You don't take a photograph, you make it."
- Ansel Adams

While my day-to-day involves engineering extreme-scale software, photography is where I slow down and find balance. Exploring the mountains, lakes, and cityscapes of the Pacific Northwest allows me to step away from the screen, chase the perfect light, and capture the world exactly as I see it.

Snowy evergreen forest and lake wrapped in fog
Seattle Great Wheel on a cloudy day
Wooden boardwalk leading to a serene mountain lake
Clear mountain stream flowing through a lush green valley with snow-capped peaks
Powerful cascading waterfall cutting through rocky terrain
Dark creek cutting through heavy snow and evergreen trees
Massive waterfall plunging over a sheer cliff face
Clear mountain lake showing submerged logs beneath steep snowy cliffs
Towering pine trees in the snow with an airplane contrail slicing through the sky
